About Us

Welcome to Photos With A Spin! We are a collaborative venture between husband and wife Abe Waugh and Maggie Redden. We discuss our experiences with wheelchair accessibility and showcase some photography from each destination.

Maggie Redden would rather be out exploring than in the office any day. Struck with wanderlust from a young age she enjoys experiencing new places and being in nature. She contracted Polio as an infant in India and uses a manual wheelchair all day, every day. She obtained a BA in Communications from Penn State University in 2007 and a MPA from Saint Peter’s University in 2015. She competed as part of Team USA at the 2008 Beijing Paralympics in the 100m and 200m T53 track events. She is currently a Communications Manager at a non-profit based in Arlington, VA fighting the opioid pandemic.
